Playing in the Snow

I wasn’t aware of how many bad happenings could be crammed into a short amount of time. Everything from spraining my ankle, to laryngitis, to the death of my aunt. With all the insanity I haven’t had time to post anything. So after much delay here it is.

We were blessed with eight inches of snow last week and consequently I couldn’t get to work. Not because of all the snow, but because of all the traffic jams of all the people who can’t drive in it and should have stayed home. Things turned out well however, and I was able to go out and play in the snow with my dog.

Missy goes crazy when she sees snow. She runs at top speed around the yard until she collapses to catch her breath and eat some of the powder.

Missy is my little two-year old Shetland Sheepdog (aka Sheltie). She’s such a doll and has the cutest markings. The snow didn’t bother her one bit through her thick coat.
